Melbourne 2014

MELBOURNE // ROYAL MELBOURNE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY // MAY 2014

The 19th of May 2014, Antonio Aricò was invited to teach a master class at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia - one week to talk about design with young Australian designers and professionals. As a fist teaching experience, Antonio decided to have a small introduction on the theme of “Soprammobili” (little things and ornaments that go on top of the furniture). He then asked to the young designers to design and create their own collection of small ornaments. Cooperation, work and fun were the 3 keywords of the master class week and the Australian attitude - warm happy and welcoming - made him feel at home” all week. Antonio says: ‘I was very enthusiast and happy about the outcome of this week, I hope this great collaboration is the fist of a long list with the upcoming Australian design scene.’
