Watering Kettle

Watering Kettle

2011

The Watering Kettle Can came from Antonio’s desire to have a watering can that is not only connected to the aesthetic and practical world of gardening. Changing the concept and the use of two common objects - like a watering can and a kettle - is a way for Antonio to magnify our usual lives by adding some fantasy and magic through linking the tender-hearted gesture of pouring tea for a friend with that of watering a plant. The hybrid shape of the tall kettle could be seen as a weird swan and the short one could be seen as a baby elephant with a very long trunk.
