For Antonio Aricò, an archetypal water carafe includes the essentials of a rounded and comfortable shape with a handle, and is used to offer a nice, fresh glass of water to guests and friends. Playing on the idea and shape of purity and simplicity, Antonio wanted to create an emotional object: organic, minimal but strong and full of character. Like a giant ice cube, the body of the carafe is iconic and straightforward. This oversized glass cube – with a hole in the top – allows for hosting water and ice, and protects the water from dust.
